I really love making cakes that really wow my crowd but sometimes between making the cake from scratch and than taking the time to decorate it, I sometimes lose motivation. Which is why I love this tutorial because she was able to use store bought cakes to make such a unique and beautiful cake that would wow anyone.
I simply love all the unique decorations she placed on the cake. Starting with the sailboat. When it mentioned that this would be a simple creation I never thought it could actually be this simple. On a side note, I actually used the same sailboat design on another cake that I made that had a nautical theme.
And who would have thought that by simply drizzling some white chocolate and purple candy melts to some Kit Kats would create such a unique decoration on a cake. I know I sound a little too excited but these are the little things that make me happy LOL.
Stable Vanilla Swiss Buttercream:
460g (16oz) Caster Sugar
230g (8oz) Egg Whites
460g (16oz)Unsalted Butter
1 Tablespoon (1/2 oz) Glucose (Optional)
1 Tablespoon (20mL) Vanilla Extract
Vanilla Pudding Cake Cream:
2 x 600mL Thickened cream
1 Pkt Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
2 Tablespoons Icing Sugar or Icing Mixture
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Bean Paste
