You Will Never Guess How She Makes This Brownie Recipe Different Than The Rest

Brownies on their own are delicious but adding this chocolate mint layer makes them amazing. The brownie is a deep chocolatey flavor with a chewy, fudgy texture.

Then you have a creamy mint covered with a thin coating of dark chocolate. You can’t go wrong with this recipe.


Brownie Layer:

1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, cut into pieces

4 ounces (120 grams) unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped

1 1/4 cups (250 grams) granulated white sugar

1 teaspoon (4 grams) pure vanilla extract

2 large eggs, at room temperature

1/2 cup (65 grams) all purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon (1 gram) salt

Mint Layer:

4 tablespoons (55 grams) unsalted butter, at room temperature

2 cups (230 grams) confectioners (powdered or icing) sugar, sifted

1/4 teaspoon pure peppermint oil (or 1/2 teaspoon pure peppermint extract or 1-2 tablespoons Creme de Menthe), or to taste

about 2 – 3 tablespoons cream

green food coloring (optional)

Chocolate Glaze:

4 ounces (120 grams) semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped

1 tablespoon (14 grams) unsalted butter or shortening
