Wait… Before you start wrinkling your nose, please give it a try. I had the same reaction when I heard about this smoothie but I still made it and I am glad I did.
All these flavor combinations make this my Fall go to smoothie. This looks and tastes like you are eating a piece of scrumptious cake. However, you won’t feel as bad when you go in for your second helping because it’s actually fairly healthy.
1/4 cup (25g) rolled oats
1/2 cup (120g) pumpkin puree
1 medium apple
1 banana, cut into pieces and frozen
1 tbsp (20g) honey
3/4 cup (175g) yogurt
1/2 cup (120g) milk
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
Dash of ground cloves
1 tsp (5g) vanilla extract
6 ice cubes
1. Place oats in the bowl of the blender and blend for about 30 seconds until finely chopped.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
3. Pour into individual glasses and sprinkle the tops with some cinnamon. Serve immediately.
