2 sticks butter, at room temperature
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup applesauce
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips


In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, salt, and sugars, until a frosting-like consistency is reached. Add applesauce and nutmeg, and mix until combined. Mix in flour and vanilla extract until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
