A Pumpkin Caramel Cheesecake With A Unique Secret Ingredient

This cheesecake has such a delicacies flavor combination that literally puts a smile on my face. This is a Pumpkin Caramel Cheesecake and it will definitely be a winner during this holiday season.

With this cheesecake you start out with a great graham cracker crust. Then, on top of that you have a decadent caramel layer that really gives this cheesecake such a unique taste. To top it off you have the pumpkin layer with a secret ingredient, maple syrup extract. Believe me it makes a difference.


10 graham crackers, about 1 1/2 cups cookie crumbs
1/4 cup melted butter
4, 8-ounce packages cream cheese
1 cup white granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sour cream
4 large eggs, at room temperature
3/4 cup pure pumpkin puree
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon maple syrup extract
1, 14-ounce can dulce de leche; about 1 cup caramel sauce

For Whipped Cream:
1 cup heavy cream, chilled
1/3 cup white granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
sprinkle of ground cinnamon
