What She Adds To The Bottom Of This Chocolate Chip Pie Makes A World Of Difference

When thinking of pies, most of us think of apple or pumpkin pies. However, this Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie might change that way of thinking. This is a decadent, delicious, and unique pie that will have everyone wanting more.

This is also a simple pie to make, especially if you buy a store bought pie crust, which is exactly what I did (don;t judge me). Whether you make your own crust or use a store bought you will end up with a fabulous pie. And the chocolate she adds to the bottom takes this delicious pie into an out of this world pie.

2 large eggs
½ cup( 2 ½ oz/75g) all-purpose flour
½ cup (4 oz/115g) granulated sugar
½ (3 oz / 90g) cup light brown sugar, packed
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ teaspoon salt, or to taste
1½ sticks (12oz/340g) butter, softened
1 to 1¼ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 unbaked Pie Crust (4-cup volume) deep-dish pie shell, thawed completely 9-inch
