I must admit I was a little nervous making this chocolate roll cake. I was not nervous making the cake itself. It was making it into a cake roll that had me on edge. In my mind I saw my cake just cracking into little pieces when I would try to roll it. However, when I saw her rolling the cake and saw how hers had the cracks I suddenly felt so much better.
And let me tell you, I was absolutely right. I did have those cracks that I dreaded, but not as bad as I suspected. Fortunately, just like she did I covered them up with the ganache and my chocolate cake roll not only tasted delicious, it looked great!
